Staff at the centre have been involved in a variety of projects within the university, including:

Teaching & Learning With Digital Media Courses
Production of a series of units whose aim is to combine the ‘how’ of technology with the ‘why’ of educational method to produce a genuinely interdisciplinary course.

THENUCE and ODELUCE
CRDLT has been involved in these two European Community funded projects which seek to promote European co-operation in the field of Open and Distance Learning and the role of C&IT in Education. Work has included the design and development of an interactive CD containing video examples of European continuing education.

Scottish Commission for the Regulation of Care
CRDLT have developed an online training course in WebCT for 400 registration inspection professionals. We have also provided IT support and face to face training throughout the country, and designed and mounted an online course: Quality Management in the Provision of Care Services.

Housing The People
- The Glasgow Experience

A virtual tour of Glasgow on CD Rom, exploring housing renewal and urban regeneration for the postgraduate housing programme. Incorporates sound, graphics and extensive use of QuickTime Virtual Reality.

SCHEMA
Social Cohesion through Higher Education in Marginal Areas. A project funded by the European Commission under the Joint Call orchestrated by the Educational Multimedia Taskforce. The Project was co-ordinated by the University of Stirling, with partners in Finland (Oulu and Lapland), Sweden (Örebro and Karlskrona) and Germany (Stuttgart).
